AirPlate Celebrates 3 Years

As AirPlate marks its 3rd anniversary, we are proud to share an important milestone in our journey. With the publication of our 2025 financial statements, we can announce that AirPlate, for the first time, has achieved a profit driven entirely by sales revenue. For us, this milestone is more than a financial result. It represents three years of focused engineering, persistent product development, and close collaboration with customers and partners.
A Vision Turned Into Reality
What began as a vision among engineers passionate about safer skies has now become a tangible reality. Over the past three years, we have transformed research, ideas, and prototypes into fully operational drone detection solutions deployed in real-world environments. Founded by engineers from the Drone Research Center at the University of Southern Denmark, AirPlate was built on the belief that safe drone integration requires robust technology and thoughtful design. From detection hardware to our intuitive monitoring software, AirPlate enables real-time drone identification, pilot tracking, and instant SMS alerts - helping protect critical and military infrastructure.
Three Years of Trust, Innovation, and Growth
Becoming profitable based solely on sales is a strong validation of both our technology and the trust placed in us by customers and partners. It demonstrates that AirPlate is not only innovating - but building a sustainable and scalable company. As we enter our fourth year, we remain committed to expanding our deployments, strengthening partnerships, and continuing to protect critical infrastructure and secure environments across Europe. Thank you to our customers, partners, team members and friends who have made this milestone possible. A special thank you to Fonden for Entreprenørskab, Innovation Fund Denmark, European Space Agency and NextGen Robotics.
P.S. The picture above was taken at the end of 2025, when we delivered a larger order and had to rent a van to get everything out the door - a proud and memorable moment for our team.
